African/American: Making the Nation’s Table
Museum of Food and Drink, New York, NY / February 23, 2022 - June 19, 2022
After years of the development spanning the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Museum of Food and Drink succeeded in opening the world’s first exhibition dedicated to African American food and foodways. Through a mixture of digital interactives, integrated graphics and artifacts, and the actual test kitchen from Ebony Magazine, this show highlights the Black innovators, chefs, restaurateurs, brewers, and farmers who built American cuisine as we know it.
